Idaho Bride Magazine loved getting the inside scoop on this winter wonderland wedding...enjoy Bryce and Teagan's journey from start to finish!
Married just after Christmas
provided the perfect venue for Bryce and Teagan’s Winter Wonderland
wedding. White and Silver with
highlights of frosty blue adorned the Willard Arts Center in Idaho Falls.
Bryce and Teagan first met in 2004 while they
attended Hillcrest High School. While
Bryce was immediately drawn to Teagan, it took him almost a year before he
could even get the courage to talk to her.
But as soon as they talked they were instant friends. Whether it was supporting each other in high school
activities or just hanging out with family, the two were always together.
In 2007, Bryce moved to Pocatello to attend ISU and
Teagan stayed at Hillcrest to finish her last year of high school. The couple would talk intermittently, but
they found themselves slowly growing apart.
In the summer of 2009, Bryce moved back to Idaho Falls to work. They began talking again and were soon
spending a lot of time together. What
had started as a close friendship was transforming into love.
The problem was that Teagan would be moving to Utah at the end of the summer. Both knew the distance would be hard, so they decided to say goodbye for a time, instead of risk slowly growing apart, damaging their relationship permanently. Teagan said, “We didn’t want to say goodbye, but we knew it wouldn’t be forever.”

Teagan said, “We didn’t want to say goodbye, but we knew it wouldn’t be forever.”
For the next year the two stayed friends, but
nothing more. They talked every once in
a while, but went as long as eight months without seeing each other.
In April 2010, Bryce and Teagan saw each other for
the first time since Teagan had moved.
Their feelings for each other were just as strong as ever. For the next few months, they talked to each
other every day and saw each other a few more times. Teagan remembers, “We decided that we were
the perfect match and that we would never find a love greater than what we had
together.”
They
began their long distance relationship, but it still took a lot of effort. “It was hard because I felt like every time we saw each other we
had to start over getting to know each other,” said Teagan. After four months of going back and forth and
only seeing each other one or two days of the week, they were ready to take the
next step.
With Teagan blindfolded,
Bryce drove to a point overlooking Idaho Falls.
They could see all the city lights.
He told her that he loved her more than all the lights of the city and
proposed, and Teagan said yes.
Teagan and her mother
immediately started planning the perfect Winter Wonderland Wedding. Silver trees adorned with white lights lined
the aisle. The couple was married behind
a blue background with a white wintry arch surrounding them.
The bridesmaids wore dusty blue dresses with white
muffs embellished with a diamond snowflake broach. Her cake intermixed snowballs with sprigs of
silver branches to compliment the winter theme.
To end the perfect day, Bryce and Teagan rode off in a beautiful horse
and carriage.
Teagan said, “With the perfect dress and the perfect
man, my dream wedding came true. It was
a beautiful winter wonderland and was everything we wanted.”
